Code of Ethics and Confidentiality Agreement

Preamble

The ROI Discipleship Community is committed to fostering a Christ-centered environment built on trust, integrity, and mutual respect. This Code of Ethics and Confidentiality Agreement establishes the ethical standards expected of all members and ensures that our community remains a place of spiritual growth, accountability, and confidentiality.

Core Values

Biblical Integrity – Members will conduct themselves in alignment with biblical principles, demonstrating honesty, righteousness, and faithfulness in all interactions.

Respect – Members will treat one another with kindness, patience, and humility, valuing diverse experiences and perspectives.

Confidentiality – Members will maintain the confidentiality of discussions within the community, ensuring a safe space for personal and spiritual growth.

Accountability – Members will be open to correction and guidance, upholding one another in love and truth.

Commitment – Members will actively participate in the community, offering support, encouragement, and prayers for one another.

Standards of Conduct

Christ-Centered Communication – All discussions, whether in-person, online, or in written form, should reflect the love and grace of Christ. Members will refrain from gossip, slander, or divisive speech (Ephesians 4:29).

Confidentiality & Trust – Members must not disclose any discussions, personal stories, business matters, or shared insights from the community outside of the group without explicit permission.

Conflict Resolution – Disputes among members should be handled biblically, following Matthew 18:15-17, prioritizing reconciliation and unity in Christ.

Ethical Conduct – Members must engage in honest and ethical behavior in all business and personal dealings within the community, avoiding conflicts of interest.

Stewardship & Responsibility – Members will use the resources and opportunities provided through this community responsibly, ensuring that their actions honor God and uplift others.

Confidentiality Agreement

As a member of the ROI Discipleship Community, I acknowledge that I may have access to confidential information concerning other members, discussions, and strategic matters within the group. Therefore, I agree to the following terms:

Non-Disclosure – I will not share any confidential information outside the community, including but not limited to personal testimonies, business strategies, financial details, and spiritual discussions.

Protection of Information – I will take all reasonable measures to prevent unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse of confidential information.

Use of Information – I will use confidential information solely for the purpose of community engagement and spiritual or business development, and not for personal gain or to harm others.

Continuation of Obligations – My duty to maintain confidentiality remains in effect even after my membership in the community ends.

Return of Materials – If I leave the community, I will return or destroy any materials containing confidential information as directed by the community leadership.

Enforcement and Disciplinary Actions

Any violation of this Code of Ethics and Confidentiality Agreement may result in disciplinary action, including temporary suspension or permanent removal from the ROI Discipleship Community. The community leadership reserves the right to take necessary measures to uphold the integrity and mission of the group.

Cancellation Policy

Participation in the ROI Discipleship, LLC is a commitment to both personal spiritual growth and the collective development of the group. If a member chooses to cancel their participation, they must provide written notice at least thirty (30) days prior to their intended cancellation date.

Notice Period – A 30-day written notice must be submitted via email or the designated cancellation form provided by ROI Ministries.

Billing Cycle – Members are responsible for any fees incurred during the 30-day notice period. No prorated refunds will be provided.

Early Termination – ROI Ministries reserves the right to make exceptions to the notice period in cases of emergency, at the discretion of leadership.

Access Termination – Upon cancellation, access to resources, community forums, recorded calls, and all other program materials will be revoked at the end of the notice period.

Rejoining the Program – Former members may reapply to join the community after cancellation. Acceptance will be subject to space availability and leadership approval.

Media Release and Recording Consent Agreement

I understand that ROI Discipleship, LLC. may record virtual meetings, including Zoom calls, and take notes for internal documentation. I consent to being recorded and grant permission for ROI Discipleship, LLC. to use recordings, transcripts, and notes for internal purposes including review, accountability, and spiritual development. I further grant ROI Discipleship, LLC. the right to use edited excerpts from these recordings, including audio, video, chat, and shared content, for promotional and educational materials, including but not limited to social media, websites, printed material, and video productions, provided that such use is respectful and aligns with the community's mission. I waive any right to compensation and agree that ROI Ministries holds ownership of the materials.

Purpose

This agreement outlines the member’s consent to be recorded during virtual meetings, including but not limited to Zoom calls, as part of the ROI Discipleship Community (“the Program”).

Consent to Record

I understand that the ROI Discipleship Community may record all virtual sessions, including video, audio, chat, and shared content. I hereby grant permission for my participation, image, voice, and likeness to be recorded during these sessions.

Use of Recordings

I acknowledge and agree that:

Internal Use: These recordings and any transcribed notes may be used for internal purposes, including review by members, leadership training, documentation, or spiritual development within the ROI Discipleship Community.

Confidentiality Maintained: The content of these recordings will not be shared publicly or commercially and will remain confidential within the ROI Discipleship Community unless I provide express written consent for a specific use outside the group.

No Compensation: I waive any right to royalties or other compensation arising from or related to the use of the recordings.

Ownership

I understand that ROI Ministries and its designees retain full ownership of all recordings, transcripts, and notes generated during the Program.

Right to Revoke Access

I acknowledge that participation in these recorded sessions is a condition of membership. If I am not comfortable being recorded, I understand I may request to participate in an alternative format if available, or voluntarily withdraw from the Program.

Indemnification

I release and hold harmless ROI Discipleship, LLC. , ROI Discipleship Community, and their leadership from any claims, demands, and causes of action which I, my heirs, representatives, or assigns may have by reason of this authorization.
